Training report: Mount Kuring-gai to Mosman (overnight)

Sometimes you walk. Sometimes you stay up all night. But very, very rarely do you combine the two. After this training session, I know why.



Before going into detail, let me just point out that I found this exercise tough. But that’s just me. I find choosing between brands of tinned tomatoes tough. Others may not find it such a strain.

Training report: Turramurra to Mosman

It was up even before the c. of d. for this one. A 6am start from Turramurra was booked in, which meant up at 4.30 to catch a suitably early train to Turramurra. With Tony out sick, Hugh and Judy off in PNG and Al in India, Meshlin, Greg, Roger and I met at the designated even before the sun had risen.

Hydration bladders: exterminate all life forms!

CamelBak - 2008.jpg Hydration bladders are a trailwalker's best friend. They keep us hydrated without having to reach into a backpack for a bottle. They can deliver essential nutrients lost during exercise of the Gator- and Stami- variety. They give us something to chew on while we walk, and walk, and walk some more.

Happened across this Bodyglide for sale today on eBay. I haven't used it myself but many others swear by it.
